Ethan wanted to have a karate party with a few of the boys from his school. I could tell it was so special for him to show his friends his karate ability. And, what a reminder to us of how far he has come and how much he has accomplished. We are so proud of him.
In Karate, the individual who holds the highest level belt is always the first in line. The top of the line is all the way to the right. Therefore, Ethan held the top slot as he has the highest level belt.
All the boys had a blast--not only did the two instructors provide games, etc., the boys also learned a set of kicks/blocks.
Kicking over Bob is always fun.
Here Ethan is demonstrating blocks to his friends with the owner of the Karate studio.
The Karate birthday cake.
Ethan got to cute his cake with a real samurai sword! I have a video that I will upload tomorrow but it was very exciting to be able to cut his cake this way.
These two enjoy each other so much. Even though Ethan had six friends to play with, he would continue to gravitate to his best bud--his brother.
Party #2! After the school/friend party, we had family and friends over to continue the celebration. This time, it was a Hot Wheels/race car theme.
After dinner, cake and gifts, we went outside for some fun. It is so much fun to see all these little ones play together. They love each other and have so much fun.
S'mores!
These two are very sweet together. Abigail seems to really love to be around little ones whom she can keep up with and Declan loved all the trucks around our house.
